Go To A Pizza Place
When I went to New York City for the first time, I was told by just about everyone that I had to go to a pizza place or my trip would not be complete. There is something American about finding great pizza. In fact, there are some that feel the personality of a city or an area simply by the pizza that they serve. Though I did enjoy the pizza we had in NYC, I can’t say it was the best that I have ever had. However, it certainly had a New York feel to it, and isn’t that the point anyway?
I always thought I was alone in thinking the pizza place in a town was as important as anything else. There have been three new families that have moved in near me in the last year, and each of them asked for a recommendation for a great pizza place in town. We love pizza because it is something that most will eat, always tastes great, and can be delivered right to the home. Even though most think it is Italian in nature, we have made it very much a staple of American life. You may enjoy a chain, but remember to order from your locally owned shop on occasion. If they all go out of business, something wonderful about our culture will be lost.
That’s not to say that the chain pizza place does not have some good food to offer. The big ones are around because people like them, and often they like that they can find the same pizza in different places around the country. The chain pizza place tends to have the same things everywhere, but they may have local specials that you can’t find anywhere else. Eating at one is certainly safe, but you may discover something wonderful if you see what a city really has to offer in the way of pizza.

Delicious Cheese Pizza
Some pizza lovers are also animal lovers and prefer not to eat any topping derived from cows, pigs or fish. Furthermore, vegans (strict vegetarians) feel uncomfortable eating regular cheese, knowing that small animal ingredients are included in regular dairy products, as well as knowing how cows are treated on the farm. Hence, many vegetarians will shop for substitute cheese and other products that are dairy-free. Pizza Hut, a major pizza chain, has started to sell soy cheese pizzas in selected areas and has received a lot of support from vegetarians.
What Kind Of Cheese Can You Use For Pizza?
There are lot of different types of cheese, and they are all tasty. There is no rule what kind of cheese we have to use for a delicious pizza. It is just matter of taste....You can use : Gouda cheese, Edammer, Maslander, Smoked cheese, Mozarella... and all the others that you have in your kitchen.... Pizza is a custom meal..... If you Have a restaurant this is all allowed and if you wander how to make a pizza menu, the cheese pizza category can be interesting if you are offering different types of cheese on pizzas....So...what kind of cheese is used to make pizza? All!
What’s the point of eating pizza without toppings?
Pizza is perhaps the greatest food ever created. It is a universal product, able to please people of all ages, and even incorporate a giant rat into food marketing campaigns. There are a wide selection of pizza toppings to choose from and being able to pick and choose anything, from pepperoni to anchovies to ham and mushrooms, makes pizza all the more tasty.But what is the deal with cheese pizza? What’s the point of eating pizza without toppings? Some pizza lovers prefer the simple taste of cheese pizza to the overwhelming taste of topping meats like pepperoni or sausages.
Both may be cheesy, delicious and fun....
Additionally, recipes for cheese pizza, soy cheese pizza, and non-soy but still 100% vegetarian cheese pizza products can be found online and printed for free. Now you can make your own cheese pizza rather than having to spend extra money for vegetarian or health food products, or compromise your scruples for the sake of a good pizza meal.
Note that edible cheese pizza should not be confused with the Cheese Pizza Tavern Tour by the Wild Retro Band. While both may be cheesy, delicious and fun, one is a band touring across the Midwest and the other is available in the frozen food section of your favorite store. Only one of two is edible and melts well in a microwave. Cheese pizza is healthy, humane and just as tasty as the classic pizza meal.
There are soy-based cheese pizza substitutes...
Skimping on toppings and regular cheese can also help pizza lovers cut down on calories. Many low fat, low calorie pizzas, as well as 100% vegetarian pizzas without regular dairy cheese, are available in large grocery stores. There are soy-based cheese pizza substitutes as well as low cholesterol and lactose free cheese pizza items, for those more concerned with health than vegetarian causes.Cheese pizza is a common item found on any pizza menu, and usually cost about $1-3 less than a full pizza with toppings. What kinds of cheese are used on pizzas? While Mozzarella cheese is the usual favorite, sometimes, special pizza cheese is used in restaurants and on frozen selections that is designed to melt easily and retain its chewy quality. Other cheeses can be added or used in place of the regular cheese, such as smoked Provolone cheese, Romano, Ricotta, and Cheddar cheese, as well as powdered Parmesan cheese which is easy to sprinkle on.

Cheese Pizza Crazy Numbers
-350 million tons of frozen pizza are consumed each year.
-The first pizzas were made and eaten only by peasants (cheap and easy was the fare); but the first official cheese pizza was that created for royalty, in Italy, by a man who was a baker and who was called upon to cook for the visiting King Umberto and the Queen Margherita. Designing the cheese pizza around the Italian flag, Raffaele Esposito used, simply, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and basil, making a white, red, and green cuisine that got instant rave reviews and that has endured for over 111 years.
-Only 4% of pizza-eaters never go out for it, or buy pizza out.
Most of us are, if not pizza connoisseurs in our own right, pizza lovers. It is (at least in this country, US) one of the top ten foods of choice. While it will do you no good for me to recommend the best, doughiest, richest, cheesiest, or other superlative pizza made in family-owned independent pizzerias locally, here in the SF Bay Area, and since there are already zillions of cheese pizza recipes and reviews online, I thought, if I can do this without bringing on even deeper cravings or making myself prematurely hungry, I thought I would give us a look at the cheese pizza trivia thus far (as of 2006, anyway).
-In one year (presumably in the 2000s), 4 BILLION pizzas were purchased.

Classic hand tossed pizza can be tasty and healthy!
If you want to prepare a healthy dough, be careful not to increase its calorie value with rich filling. Use vegetables and low-caloric cheese mozzarella. Soya, flaxen, whole-grain, or corn flour you can serve as excellent replacement or the supplement to white flour in preparation of doughs for your classic hand tossed pizza. From flaxen seed grains we gets the flaxen flour, which is rich omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins of group B and minerals. The soya flour is rich with proteins and is excellent source of iron, calciums and vitamins B. Because it contains no gluten in most cases we ix it with another types of flour. So If we make some efforts, our classic hand tossed pizza can be tasty and healthy!Thursday, November 15, 2007
Classic Hand Tossed Pizza
Types of Pizza
Lazio style :
Domino's Pizza is cooked in long, rectangular baking pans and relatively thick (1-2 cm). it is usually cut with scissors or knife and priced by weight. In Pizza Restaurants (Pizzerias) it is served in a dish in its traditional round shape. It is mostly cooked in a wood-fired oven for its particular flavour and texture. This kind of Lazzio pizza is topped with tomato, mozzarella, anchovies and oil. These are other variations of the Lazio style pizza like
Romana : tomato, mozzarella, anchovies, oregano, oil;
Viennese: tomato, mozzarella, German sausage, oregano, oil;
Capricciosa : mozzarella, tomato, mushrooms, artichokes, cooked ham, olives, oil (in Rome raw ham is used and half a hard-boiled egg is added);
Quattro Stagioni : same ingredients for the Capricciosa, but ingredients not mixed;
Quattro Formaggi : tomatoes, mozzarella, stracchino, fontina, gorgonzola (sometimes ricotta can be swapped for one of the last three);
Napoletana.--- The main ingredients in these kind of pizza is San Marzano tomatoes, which grow on the volcanic plains to the south of Mount Vesuvius and Mozzarella di Bufala Campana, made with the milk from water buffalo raised in the marshlands of Campania and Lazio. The dough must be kneaded by hand or with a low-speed mixer. After the rising process, the dough must be formed by hand without the help of a rolling pin or other mechanical device more then 3mm thick. Baking time is 60–90 seconds in a 485 °C (905 °F) stone oven with an oak-wood fire.
